Hi All. I will be traveling to Maui in June for my Honeymoon. I am despartely trying to find a romantic getaway for an affordable price. I would appreciate any suggestions on places to stay (both condos and hotels). Also would appreciate any information on ';hang out'; spots. (i.e. restaurants, bars, towns, beaches, etc...) Thanks in advance!
Maui Honeymoon
One property you might want to consider is the Maui Prince in Kihei, off Makena Beach. It sets on a very secluded stretch of beach, but the property itself is very lush, with beautifully manicured gardens. It is more ';affordable'; than many of the larger resorts on Maui, but is still a popular choice for honeymooners.
I would read the reviews for the Maui Prince, and see if it is ';within your budget';,....again, I think it would make an excellent choice for a honeymoon. :)
Congrats!
Maui Honeymoon
Aloha!
Lots of places to consider.
Maui Kai is good...nice location, all oceanfront, condo units with full kitchens.
Maui Kaanapali Villas is nice...GOOD beach, good location, pretty grounds.
Napili Kai is excellent, too! A bit more secluded, NICE beach, nice for couples, and a good location.
Really, it depends on what you are looking for and your exact budget.

Hi! We are also Honeymooning in June... maybe we%26#39;ll run into each other! We booked at the Ho%26#39;oilo House, looks amazing.

Enjoy your last few months until the wedding!
We just got back from our honeymoon mid-December... we stayed four nights Hyatt and four nights Grand Wailea. Both were great places to go... if you are really trying to get something good-cheap then book the Hyatt through www.hotwire.com
It won%26#39;t show you where you%26#39;re bidding for, but it%26#39;s the 4.5 star Ka%26#39;anapali hotel... the only one there. If you have questions go to www.betterbidding.com and check for posts to guide you through it. We did this and saved nearly half price. Ended up with a Terrace View King sized bed, but because it was our honeymoon we were upgraded to a partial ocean view.
Lots of other honeymooners at the resort. If you want to splurge go to the Grand!
We%26#39;re doing our honeymoon travel through thebigday.com. It%26#39;s a fantastic, refreshing resource.....
If you are looking for inexpensive, relaxing not commercial, not fancy - Kaanapali Beach Hotel. Even if you don%26#39;t stay there, check out their nightly Hawaiian music show (free!).
We also honeymooned in Maui, and one place we stayed was Dreams Come True on Maui - not only was it very lovely, it was also affordable. They have a B%26amp;B, cottage and a condo that is available and I would highly recommend checking them out for your accommodations. Get the Maui Revealed book, as that will give you lots of information on the best beaches, snorkeling, activities and restaurants. Lahaina is one place you don%26#39;t want to miss for an evening of fun. Congrats to you both and have a wonderful time. :)
The resorts are fine and we drove to them daily. But, they are crowded. Try the Honeymooner Cottage in upscale Spreckelsville (Hawaiibound.com). It%26#39;s private, clean and the setting can%26#39;t be beat.
