Any suggestions on where to stay with a family of 7 on or near waikiki beach? ( 4 adult%26#39;s two teenagers and 9 yr old.)
Best Place for family in waikiki ?
A condominium unit(s) would be your best bet, by far, and would save a bundle on restaurant costs. How many bedrooms do you need to be comfortable? How much are you willing to spend? Any locational preferences?
Would you be willing to take several rooms and/or one bedroom suites in a lesser hotel?

Almost all hotels on/near Waikiki Beach are family %26#39;friendly%26#39;. Hotels located right on Waikiki Beach will probably cost you a bit. These hotels are located on Kalakaua Ave. Hotels that I%26#39;ve stayed in are: Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach (this is where all the action is. Very busy hotel). Within this hotel is Dukes Canoe Club Restaurant/Bar which is always packed with tourists/locals. I%26#39;ve been there during the summer/winter/spring and it%26#39;s always packed. Good food/service and entertainment on the beach. Moana Hotel and Royal Hawaiian Hotel are pricey but beautiful inside and out. If you%26#39;re looking for affordable prices, clean, beautiful hotels, you will find these located on Kuhio Ave. which runs parallel with Kalakaua Ave. and just a block from the beach. Kuhio Ave. is where you%26#39;ll find everyone. Even us locals who live on Oahu, as well as the neighbor islands, will usually end up staying at a hotel located on Kuhio Ave. (Radisson/Marriot/Aston/Ohana/Outrigger: all nice hotels)
Thank you aberloo %26amp; tweedie..any suggested condo%26#39;s to look into ? Great info Tweedie.. Im looking into some of your suggestions.
any suggestions or information on condo%26#39;s to rent in waikiki? Thank-you.
We just came back and we stayed in a condo with 8 of us. It is on the canal but just a 5 minute walk to everything. The views were spectacular and there was everything that we needed. Very laid back place which was good with teenagers.
