We are planning a trip for March. My husband and I have been to Maui 3 times and have stayed at the Ritz and Kea Lani. This time we will be traveling with our 6 %26amp; 3 yr olds. Kea Lani did have a children%26#39;s pool and nice beach but it is not available plus is $500-$700. I am looking for a place with fun kids activities. What is the kid%26#39;s pool at the Hyatt like? I saw the virtual tour on the hotel website but it was not very clear. I have read the beach is lousy. I wouldn%26#39;t be opposed to a beach trip down Kaanapali. Any thoughts on the Hyatt for kids would be great. Also, is the Regency Club worth the money to have snacks and drinks?

I don%26#39;t know about the Hyatt, but you may want to try the Kaanapali Beach Hotel. They have a kids activities program there. The resort is not as fancy as the Hyatt or the Ritz though. It is much more affordable and has a nice beach. Their pool has a kiddie section.

I have been to Maui twice, and am going again in March! We have stayed at the Hyatt, the hotel itself is great, pools fun, but very crowded deck space. We have also stayed at the Kaanapali Alii in 2 bedroom condos (way nice!) and have loved it to. It doesn%26#39;t have a resort type pool, but it is nice and has a kiddie pool. Best of all it is on the best part of the Kaanapali beach and a hop skip and jump to anything.
The pool is quite deep. The last time we were there my son was 9 years old and we had to be with him the entire time in the pool as most areas are well over his head! Try the Marriott, the Westin or the Sheraton..much better for younger kids.
Aloha!
Have you considered the Embassy Vacation Resort?
You get a suite(about 900 sq. feet), FULL breakfasy each day, afternoon coktails, plus their pool is nice and heated. It is north of Kaanapali a bit, but well worth a look!
