Can we squeeze into one room?

We are staying in Oahu just for 2 nights, returning from a week on another island. We are a family of 5, 2 adults, three children (16,13,10). Can we squeeze into one room at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, with a roll away, for the two nights? Really want to stay there, as it seems like a great place for a quick visit. After 4 trips to Hawaii, this would be our first time staying on Oahu. WHich rooms at the Hilton would afford us the most room? Any thoughts appreciated!

Hilton Hawaiian Village has a website: www.hiltonhawaiianvillage.com. On the bottom of the home page are contacts for ';reservations'; and ';contact us';. I%26#39;ll just bet you could get your question answered there. Chuck

You probably can however check with the hotel, many will not allow more than 4 to a room...no matter what their ages are. Has something to do with fire codes.

Hi!

We also have 3 children and it%26#39;s tough to find a hotel that allows 5 in a room. I know for sure that the Hilton Hawaiian Village does not allow 5 in a room. You can always ';hide'; somebody and bring a sleeping bag but I hate doing that when you are paying close to 300 dollars a night. Even the 1 bedroom suites in the Diamond Head tower have an occupancy limit of 4. They have condos they rent in the Lagoon tower but you would have to get a 2 bedroom one to fit 5 and it%26#39;s very expensive. When we visited Honolulu in the past we have stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki. They do allow 5 in a room. Do ask if they charge for a rollaway. They didn%26#39;t as of 2 years ago, but I called them recently and they do now. Tell them it%26#39;s for a child and they might not. I hope that helps.

We also had 5 in our room at teh Outrigger Luana this past summer, which is very close to the HHV, although a short walk across DeRussy Park to the beach. The website wouldn%26#39;t let us book for more than 4, but I contacted the hotel and asked for a hideabed (which was actually a very nice twin bed) and it worked out fine. Just be sure to get the ocean view 1 bedroom suite in order to fit everyone.
