Looking for a condo close to a beach within walking distance to fun stuff to do for my teens. 2 girls who of couse would love to shop and a boy who is more in to computers. Probably interested in the most active area.Peaceful and quiet is not what the kids are looking for. Thanks
Best condo location for teens
Kaanapali is a WONDERFUL area for you AND the kids... It is relaxing and at the same time there are tons of things to do. We have stayed at the Kaanapali Alii. It gets mixed reviews because 8-10 of the condos are rented out to an agency and not well maintained (my take). If you stay away from them you will get a great place.. yoga and quite pool for you.. agreement for kids to swim at the Westin (3 pools, waterslide, activities) next store. Shopping is very close. Everyday at the entrance of the shopping village they post activities - learn to hula, make leis, go snorkeling up at black rock, boogy board... If you stay in Kaanapali try to sign up for the star gazing at the Hyatt Regency (starts at 10:00pm). It is incredible. What we like about Kaanapali is that it is self-contained. You don%26#39;t have to drive. The kids will be entertained and the oceanside walkway is wonderful. We have not stayed down in Makena area; it is a newer area but I THINK it is less of a %26#39;village%26#39; and more individual hotels. Have fun.
