sea sick/ whale watching

We are going to Maui in Feb.. would like to

go out on a whale watching tour but get somewhat sea sick. What is the best time of

day to go to avoid this and the best kind of boat to take?

Also, what is the best pre-med to take without sleepiness?? Help! thank, Jillane

I took those prescription patches that go behind your ear when I went on a cruise and they worked wonders for me. You are not tired at all. You have to put it on several hours before you go on the boat and get them from a Doctor. The only side effect on me was some minor blurry vision but since you won%26#39;t have it on several days like me you probably won%26#39;t even have that happen.

I got seasick on a whale watching boat before (not in Maui). The crew said it is a little bit better to stand/sit at the middle of the boat rather than the ends.

Also, you can try either ginger ale or ginger snaps, they work great!
