Where do you park to get down to Kapalua Beach?

Two years ago when we were in Maui, we ended up parking in the structure by the Kapalua Shops. After walking across what I believe were hotel grounds, we could see the beach but couldn%26#39;t find the way down to it. I know there is a small parking lot for the beach, but how do you get to it. Just by looks, the beach looked smaller than I imagined, but it is hyped to be one of the better ones? Anyone been there lately?

Thanks in advance

If you are coming north from Napili on Lower Honoapilani Road, it%26#39;s on your left shortly after you enter the Kapalua resort - about 1/4 mile before you get to the hotel. Once you park you go through a tunnel and emerge on the south end of the beach.

I found this web page which shows a photo of a sign at the entrance. debris.com/galleries/main.php…

Have been there several times and it is a nice beach, especially for snorkeling. The beach is popular, and parking lot is small so it fills up quickly... you might want to get there early.

You can get to the beach from the parking lot you were at by walking through the hotel and then down one of several paths, however... they%26#39;re going to to be tearing the hotel down in the coming months which might make this more difficult.

Yes, I remember it was easy to find. When I was there alone in September I found it on my own quite easily and got lucky since there were a few open parking spots -- I thought the lot was bigger than many Maui public beach lots.

The book %26#39;Snorkeling Maui%26#39; was good for directions and parking information for many beaches; I used that to get my way around.

I went snorkeling here by myself and felt safe and thought it was a nice beach. The snorkeling was actually really good. I saw a couple of eels there.

Thanks everyone,now.. How about a parking lot for Napili Beach... anyone like one over the other?
