Like I have said, it seems like the mass majority feel that we are doing a good thing here. If it were not for us checking in everyday as often as we do, there would be no advice to be given, as is the case is most of the other forums. That fact that we get off topic and chat for a portion of the day just means that we are here much of the time for those who need travel advice, and in my case, you can add fashion advice to that as well. We ALL (with the exception of Bud and DaDa) have a lot to contribute. It is clear that we are all very much appreciated by the comments made in this thread by people who don%26#39;t normally post. They will miss us if we are gone. I truly don%26#39;t see Bud or DaDa contributing anything more than usless knit picking and therefore I, and hopefully everyone else, will stay to give the advice that we are so good at giving. What has Bud contributed? Nothing!!! He has nothing to say about the destination at hand, and I have never heard him even speak of taking a trip to Maui. Therefore, I agree with Hula, Jeeper, Roxy and everyone else who has said that the best thing to do is ignore him. No matter how ugly he gets (if getting uglier is even possible) just ignore him and go on with your conversation. No matter what it may be about. Jeeper%26#39;s Jeep? Lets talk about it! Hula%26#39;s family visit? Let talk about it. Little Lisa%26#39;s trip to Disneyland? Lets talk about it. No one can bring us down. Lets just have fun from here on out. I love you all (except the unfortunate one) and hope that we continue to bring the Aloha Spirit to this forum!!!! And for those who don%26#39;t know the meaning of Aloha Spirit (Bud and DaDa, and a few others) here it is!!!!
[??????5-7.5] ';Aloha Spirit';. (a) ';Aloha Spirit'; is the coordination of mind and heart within each person. It brings each person to the self. Each person must think and emote good feelings to others. In the contemplation and presence of the life force, ';Aloha';, the following unuhi laula loa may be used:
';Akahai';, meaning kindness,
to be expressed with tenderness;
';Lokahi';, meaning unity,
to be expressed with harmony;
';Oluolu';, meaning agreeable,
to be expressed with pleasantness;
';Haahaa';, meaning humility,
to be expressed with modesty;
';Ahonui';, meaning patience,
to be expressed with perseverance.
These are traits of character that express the charm, warmth and sincerity of Hawaii%26#39;s people. It was the working philosophy of native Hawaiians and was presented as a gift to the people of Hawaii. ';Aloha'; is more than a word of greeting or farewell or a salutation. ';Aloha'; means mutual regard and affection and extends warmth in caring with no obligation in return. ';Aloha'; is the essence of relationships in which each person is important to every other person for collective existence. ';Aloha'; means to hear what is not said, to see what cannot be seen and to know the unknowable.
Everyone please have a wonderful day! And I will be talking with all of you soon!
As Stated in ';My Maui Forum Advice';Amen.
As Stated in ';My Maui Forum Advice';Fitz - I%26#39;d have to say your posts are my favorites! Keep on doing what you do! 99.9% of us really enjoy it!
Yeah Fitz, I%26#39;m cool with you, and am down with the rest of the group. I enjoy your folks sense of humor and it makes me ball sometimes.
Beer brand use to be on the Vegas Nevada Forum before showing up here. That%26#39;s when they barred a few of them for the same purposes. Not saying if he was one of them or not, %26#39;cause I don%26#39;t know.
Got a thank you and praise confirmation e-mail from TA today on this whole situation and they took beginning actions against those and the threads. Checked it out lately? Said they will continue for an indefinite period of time to closely monitor and check into this current situation and if necessary, take even further action on those disciplined already.
Oh lordy I agree! By the way, is the road to Hana really worth it? Should I go all the way around or just half way? Which Luau is the best? Which snorkle tour is the best to take? Should we stay at the Grand Wailea or the Four Seasons? Is there a rainy season on Maui? Should we rent a car?
Roxy...Go all the way around. You will not be dissapointed. It is just as beautiful in each part on the back side in different ways. You will love it. The Vista%26#39;s are unbelievable.
What! An off topic post becomes on topic? That can%26#39;t be right!
Fitz is right, keep going all the way. It%26#39;s amazing to see how the island changes. Such a small island but such diversity in landscape.
Chico, Hahaha, I thought the exact same thing!
And Roxy, Go all the way around! In my opinion the backside was my favorite part!
Oh I was just joking guys with all those questions! I%26#39;ve read the answers a hundred times. But that%26#39;s why you%26#39;re needed to answer these questions for others.
