Travel Channel

Did anyone see the Travel Channel show last night called Travel Spies? They had an episode where they pitted Maui against Oahu. It is on again at 3 pm east coast time on June 19th. The hotel they used for Maui was the Hana Hotel, which I didn%26#39;t think was fair as it was so far away, but Maui won anyway, and it was a fun show.....especially when they ask Housekeeping for 20 extra pillows to get a reaction.

I saw the show last night. Halekulani got a total of 20 points, Hotel Hana-Maui got 21 points. I liked the show, but wished they showed more of the other things to do around Maui. The only thing they showed other than ordering 20 pillows and having the hotel prepare an in-room luau was the ride down Haleakala. Overall though it was very nice

Ya, I watched it last night. They showed a loop of it all night. It%26#39;s an interesting show and I can%26#39;t wait until they do more. However, they really should have done a comparible hotel on Maui as they did with the Halekulani in Oahu.

I%26#39;ve had the pleasure of visiting both hotels and Hotel Hana-Maui really is something to be seen, it%26#39;s truly amazing. The Halekulani, I didn%26#39;t stay but had dinner at LaMer but we stayed at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental, and I just liked the look of our hotel overall than the Halekulani, and the rooms are bigger at KMO. It would have been more interesting if they pit these two hotels against each other since they%26#39;re the two 5 star hotel on Oahu. Or, they should have done the Four Season or something on Maui.

I%26#39;m sure they%26#39;ll re-run it... at least they%26#39;re getting some new programming. If I saw anything about Vegas and poker one more time - they might as well make it the Vegas Channel.

only saw the first part about the nyc hotel--- are the things that they are asking for really realistic- excessive amounts of pillows----------large beers--- balloons etc-------------

i guess my problem is that i dont stay in 350 per nite plus hotel rooms

Yea they take one look at my wallet and send me down the street to Motel 6 or a Best Western.
