New to this forum and the Maui vacation idea. Can anyone tell me what the best part of the island is? Don%26#39;t want to end up in the wrong part of town.
Thanks a lot, in the beginning stages of planning.
Where to Stay
Welcome Nashville. I will start by saying that the 2 main areas you want to be are either West Maui (Kaanapali, Kapalua, Kahana, etc.) and South Maui (Weilea, Makena, Kihei). Both have a lot to offer, and are similar in many ways, but totally different in other ways. If you let us know more of what you are looking for in your vacation, we can help you more on what to choose.
Where to Stay
Yep more info needed. Are you on a budget. do you want 5 star place or a owner condo rental. Lots and Lots of options.
If you want the best bang for your buck and want to be near or on the water, a condo is your best bet. More space, closer to the water and the only thing you will miss is the room service, IMO.
What area you stay in depends on your needs and personal style but there truly is no bad side of town in Maui!
Thanks guys. Hubby %26amp; I are looking for possibly a house, very private with a nice pool. As for budget, less than $900 and night. We plan on a 7 night visit. A resort is not out of the question, do like room service. By the way, is May\June a good time to visit? Sure would hate for all that time, travel %26amp; money to be a rain out.
May was gorgeous for us, 2nd through the 9th. With that budget you can check out Four Seasons or try VRBO.com for private homes in Maui.
