In some places we%26#39;ve traveled beaches are all public access. This is our 1st trip to Hawaii, we chose this because we%26#39;re avid scuba divers and had read and been told (by someone from Hawaii) that there%26#39;s lots of shore diving (= I can now afford to dive in HA) -- -
The question is, are the beaches public access? Or is public access marked well?
HELP
I%26#39;ve been reading posts for a few days now %26amp; from some I%26#39;m starting to get a little discouraged :(
public access
In some places you will have a small acces to walk, it will say Public access If it does not go anyway and if someonr stops you, just say public access, It is the law...on Oahu, we stayed a block and a half from the beach, but the we walked down to the beach w/ chairs and at night listened to the music from the fancy hotel. it was great...
public access
Beaches in Hawaii are all Public Access, unless posted.
There are a very few privare estates, but they are not
the norm. Do a Google search about scuba beaches in
Hawaii and be forwarned about the dangerous undertow
at many of them. It%26#39;s not as severe during the summer
months, but winter is the dangerous season.
There are a series of books called, ';Treking...(Maua, Kauai,
Hawaii)';. Very good information regarding all aspects
of the islands. I ordered Maui %26amp; Kauai on the Wal-Mart
website and got them in 5 days.
Great reference material. About $13.00 each.
