Packing, 1 day to go.....

Just wanted to say farewell for now to all my forum friends. Although I am not going to Maui this trip (visiting DL with my daughter), thought I would still share my enthusiasm.

Hula, Ventureman, and Jeepers -- if I don%26#39;t catch you when I get back (Hula--I know you will be gone) have a wonderful time in Maui. Take lots of notes for me.

Chico--I too am doing the last minute run to Wal-Mart now. I also have to stop at Old Navy and Nordstroms.

Oh, and send positive thoughts and prayers my way tomorrow. Our flight lands at 3:30 and by the time I get our luggage out of LAX and pick up the rental car, UGH it is going to be rush hour traffic. I shutter to think of the crawl on I405. Fitz, any suggestions? I should have planned flight times better!

Have fun ya%26#39;all and I know that you are all going to play nice now that Pappy is back;)

Lisa, have a great time! We always fly into LAX and it%26#39;s not that bad. Fitz may have some helpful hints for you.

REMEMBER!....Lay everything out before you pack and then put at least 1/2 of the stuff back!!!

AHHHHH remember to use the Fast Pass - it%26#39;s the way to go! Have a great trip! Only went to Wal Mart in Maui twice!!!! (Had to try to get Aloha srubs for daughter #1 who works in a dental office). We did not go to Lowes or Home Depot once the entire week, which is a huge record (have been three times since getting home). Routerman has a tool addiction.

dont know what your destination is in LA but i never rent a car there I take the flyaway bus into the valley and my sister picks me up there-------i let someone else do the rush hour driving and i take a nap-----then i use one of my sisters cars
