My husband and I stayed at Gardens at West Maui the week of Feb. 18-25/05. What a disappointment. The interior of the condo was great but the views (or lack of) and location were absolutely terrible. Not on the ocean, which was very disappointing, our lanai overlooked the parking lot and our bedroom window overlooked a private home that raised roosters for ';rooster fighting';......very upsetting to me. We would not stay here again.

I am so sorry to hear that The Gardens were a disappointment. Could you be more specific? How long was the walk to the beach? Were there convenient restaurants nearby? For those of us who are booked and can%26#39;t get out of it, what are your suggestions for our stays there? Thanks!

this is very disappointing. did you havea choice of rooms, or just assigned one? how far is it to the ocean? are there other rooms taht do over look the ocean? are there nice restaurants nearby and can you use the gold course there and what is the price please? any info would be of great help. thank you valerie llyvmy@aol.com
