Great trip thanks to all my forum friends!

Got back Sunday. Wow what a great trip. You all were right it truely is paradise. My family of 4, two forty somethings, 18, and 10 year old. We stayed at the Embassy Vacaction Resorts and loved it. The beach was great and location was good. We went to the Hyatt luau. It was o.k. Spent several days at the beach and pool. Kids enjoyed that the most. We took quicksilver snorkeling trip. We all enjoyed it very much. We only saw one turtle at turtle town. We really like the helicopter trip on Air Maui. Even though it was really windy we had great visibility. Brought the CD home. One night just adults ate at Roys and we loved it. Kids liked Bubba Gumps in Lahaina. Watched the sun set at Leina%26#39;s(?) at Whalers Village. Had a really good steak there. Took our big old Lincoln towncar all the way around the road to Hana. The adults loved it but the 12 hours was too long for kids. Planned to spend the last afternoon at Mama%26#39;s Fishhouse, but after getting almost there we realized we left an entire load of laundry at the Embassy. I took pictures to Wal-Mart to develope, while my husband went back go cloth. Instead of eating at Mama%26#39;s I had my last meal at McDonalds at Wal-Mart. I told my kids all week it was a sin to eat at McDonalds in Maui. Oh well! It was a great trip and we loved Maui and can%26#39;t wait to go back, without kids.

Sounds like a great trip, Chatty! We were having some wonderful weather, weren%26#39;t we? Consider the wind a great blessing because without it, it can feel like, well, Lubbock Texas! Too bad about Mama%26#39;s but at least you held out to the end on McDOnald%26#39;s!

Chatty, so glad your trip went well and sounded like you did some really great things....but I have to go with you on the last sentence, I will treat my kids to lots of trips but Maui is for the two of us!
