I hear that its not as good as it used to be. Im trying to go in late July, still struggling to get tickets.

Is it really worth it over the other luaus?

This was the only luau that I%26#39;ve ever been too--just last August 2004. I thought that it was great!

It seemed expensive, so my wife and I braved a timeshare presentation for a discount. My advice: if you value your sanity, don%26#39;t endure a timeshare presentation. Just pay for the luau. It%26#39;s worth it.

From what I have gathered on here, you either like it or find it boring. I think anything you do depends on what you put into it yourself. It is rated # 1 in all the books.

I have been to 5 luaus, 3 at seperate locations and 2 times to the Old Lahaina. I would say without a doubt that the Old Lahaina is the best. Now you know they are always sold out but I found both times I went that if you call around noon each day you are there chances are you can get tickets. I think calling at Noon is the trick as that is the latest you can cancel.

As the above poster said, comparing to other Luaus.... its just amazingly better. However, for some any luau is an overrated show with passable picnic fare.

My wife and I enjoyed our night at the OLL, it was made even better because earlier in the week we had gone to Drums of the Pacific (supposedly the second best luau on the island) and the difference was night and day.
