Hi, I thought I%26#39;d really surprise my husband with an official ';Lei greeting'; upon arrival at the Maui airport. Has anyone ever purchased this before? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated?

After many years with the same travel agent, we switched this year and when I purchased our tickets yesterday she asked me if we were interested a Lei greeting.

I told her no but said I had never been asked that before.

She said they have so many people that were disappointed about not getting one that it is now standard practice for them to ask.

I honestly would not have thought that it was that big of a deal.

I%26#39;ve only had one once, when we used Pleasant Hawaiian Holiday%26#39;s back in the early 80%26#39;s. Not sure if they even do it anymore...?

We always buy a Lei on the first grocery trip and hang in in an open window. The trades fill the condo with the great smell.

we booked through AAA/Pleasant Holidays and leis were offered %26#39;free%26#39; - my kids will like it, so why not? I%26#39;m only interested in finding a puakenekene lei to bring home for myself - love that scent!

I noticed that Star Market had a much better selection of leis than the other grocery stores this time around.

I purchased my air and car thru a large West Coast Hawaii travel agency. The Lei greetings were included in the price. Something to consider.
