international marketplace demolition

I am going to Oahu in late July, and just read that the International Marketplace will be closed due to total renovation. I was planning to do a lot of shopping while there (not at a mall). Are there other places on the strip to shop, or will I be disappointed?

Look like they are having delays and will be open throughout the summer now. Just returned yesterday. -Mark

According to other posts, it looks like the demolition is being put off until early in 2006. Thank goodness, since this gives us one last chance when we go back in July!

And me too in October!
