I am trying to figure out where to stay. I am looking for a hotel in an area with some sort of nightlife and was told Kaanapali Beach in lahaina was the place.
I since have had Kaanapali Beach hotel reccomended as inexpensive and right in the heart of the nightlife. The only problem is its sold out for the dates in july I want.
I am looking for something inexpensive and within walking distance to the bars and clubs since I will be drinking.
Thanks,
Matt
Kaanapali Beach Hotel?
Bump up, so someone younger, with more knowledge of nightlife, will notice your post and help you out.
* I do have a nightlife but I cant see it cause my eyes are closed!
Kaanapali Beach Hotel?
Not a lot of nightlife per say on Maui, besides walking on the Beach.... Lahaina would be your best bet. It%26#39;s about 3 miles from the Ka%26#39;anapali Beach Hotel. Problem is their isn%26#39;t much lodging in Lahaina, but it%26#39;s where most of bars/clubs are. Try Lahaina Shores. I%26#39;ve never stayed there, but it%26#39;s right on the beach, it%26#39;s fairly inexpensive, and is within walking distance of the bars.

Bump Up
Island I will look into that hotel. I was told lahaina was the place with the most bars and clubs.(Again I also heard that there is not much nightlife for singles in Hawaii anyway) but I was also suggested kaanapali beach.
Thanks,
Matt
PS Maui LOL
Okay, I am kinda new here. What is ';bump up';?. We stayed at Lahiana Shores last August. The place was very nice. It is more of a family kind of place. Very Quiet. The beach is fair. Don%26#39;t plan on spending the day on it. The pool is very nice. Walk to everything in Lahaina in 15 minutes or less. You could have a ';night on the town'; and stagger back quite easily, and sleep in with no disturbance very nicely. Try David Paul for a kind of expensive, but really excellent restaurant.
';bump'; means you are replying to a message to make it go to the top of the list so someone will notice it and reply to you. it is a kindly thing to do (can we say aloha spirit?) to help the poster get more good information.
so ';bump up'; from me
Matt, check with a good travel agent. Some of the tour operators may still have available space.
