Do you know for a fact the other tours are dumping? I seriously doubt it as it is a federal crime to put ANY waste in the ocean....on the tours we have been on (neither being Trilogy or Whale Foundation) they were very specific in their pre boarding lecture to point out the fact that NOTHING but people go over the side, no food, no ciggie butts, no cups etc....I also know their MSD (Marine sanatation device) was a closed system and hence it is not even possible for them to pump it overboard.

I know you did not fall off the turnip truck yesterday Jeeper...the world is chock a block FULL of idiots who never consider thier actions. The number one items picked up on most beach cleaning operations is ciggie butts but is almost being overtaken by plastic water bottles.....billions of both get chucked over the seide every year.

BB: You are right about idiots that pollute. We live in the Rockies and you can go back into pretty secluded places and find fast food containers and wrappers. It just annoys me to no end when people don%26#39;t dispose of their litter properly.

Well Lovely besides looking bad it can also be very hazardous to the wildlife (both in the ocean and on land). I can%26#39;t tell you how many turtles I saw in the 30 years I spent in the Coast Guard who were dead from eating plastic bags or sea birds from six pack rings.....and that is just what was floating on the surface.
