Need one day%26#39;s worth of must-sees from Lahaini
best in Western Maui?
Nothing to see there, huh?
best in Western Maui?
I like many of the beaches near there: Kapalua, Kaanapali. If you want to shop go to Whaler%26#39;s Village. The whaling museum there is wonderful as are the shops and the beach. You could drive the ';West Maui Hwy'; at least partway - it is very scenic.
Beach hopping is very easy from there, so central to all the good snorkeling beachs...and shopping. Dont forget to check out the amazing Banyan tree in the center of Lahanai square!
Honolua Bay for Snorkeling. Lahaina for dining and shopping. Black rock and Kaanapali Beach for many reasons, Whalers Village. Eat at Hula Grill in Whalers Village at the barefoot bar. Great food, and whatever you get, put their ';Chile Water'; on it. It is the best sauce in the world. That and the Mango Catsup. I had to buy several bottles to bring home. Also, drive to the North of Kaanapali, Kapalua etc. and go all the way around. It is a lot shorter than Hana Hwy, but really beautiful with some great photo opportunities. Have a great time!
THANKS for the great suggestions!
I agree with Fitz about the Mango catsup. We have had a couple of so-so meals at Hula Grill but it is usually quite good and the catsup alone is enough to bring you back.
