I have come down to the following hotels for April 2006 that have rooms availabe for our dates:
Outrigger Reef--$215 per night
Outrigger Waikiki--$245
Hilton Grand Vacation Lagoon Tower--$188
We are in our 50%26#39;s but enjoy being by the action. Also like a nice beach and pool area. If we stayed at the Hilton is it far to the beach from the Lagoon tower? And how much of a walk from there to say ';Dukes'; if we wanted to go for a drink at the Outrigger Waikiki? I thought I read someone saying their room in the lagoon tower did not have a balcony. That is something I would really want. Thanks for any advice--JoAnne

Lagoon Tower is not far from the beach. You just go down towards the lagoon, walk over towards the Rainbow Tower, and the beach is right there. HHV is at one end of Waikiki while Dukes is at the other, so I would say about 1.5 miles down the beach towards Diamond Head. I thought the Lagoon Tower accomodations all have a lanai (balcony). You might want to check out the Hilton Hawaiian Village website for more information.
Duke%26#39;s is at the lower lobby of Outrigger Waikiki, so you cannot get any closer than if you stay at Outrigger Waikiki. Outrigger Reef is half way between HHV and Outrigger Waikiki; less than 1 mile walk towards Diamond Head on the beach.

I haven%26#39;t actually stayed at any of them, but location wise, I would suggest the Outrigger Waikiki, where Duke%26#39;s is located. The Hilton is at the far end of Waikiki. If you like ';being in the action'; the Outrigger would be my pick. It is also directly across the street from the International Market Place and tons of entertaining people watching each night.
we stayed out outrigger reef...loved it...nice pool area a couple different restautants, staff is so helpful %26amp; nice...Dukes isnt that far to walk to. The shorebird at the reef has yummy food too!
