Budget Maui lodging

Has anyone stayed at the SeaView Haiku on Maui? I%26#39;m planning a trip in Nov. 2006, and am looking for a clean, quiet, centrally located place. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I want to keep it between $350-and $450 per week.

I imagine you%26#39;ve tried www.vrbo.com. If not, you can select an economical area such as Kihei. Usually, the studios are cheaper than the 1 or 2 bedroom so you can search Kihei by no. of bedrooms to pull up the studios first. Occasionally, Kihei has places in the $60 to $70 range although most are more than that.

I haven%26#39;t heard of it. Try the Wailana Inn %26amp; Sunseeker Inn, they should have some pretty low prices and it%26#39;s right across the street from unobstructed beach.

Actually the web site looked very interesting I would look deeper into this.

Seview Haiku is not centrally located.

The Wailana Inn promotes itself as being gay owned and its website is linked to the SunSeeker web site, which is described on its website as ';...welcoming all, but catering primarily to the gay and lesbian traveler.'; Just pointing that out because it is something that may or may not be of interest to you.

$350 to $400 a week in a central location is tough but may be doable in Kihei if anywhere.
