What were the reasons you gave to support this request? What rules were violated? If you are going to post this notice you should at least have the integrity to let everyone know what your reasons are for making this request. What specific posts violated the rules? If I violated the rules I will apologize and stop doing so. It appears that you made this complaint only because you don%26#39;t like what I post. I don%26#39;t like what you write but I don%26#39;t file complaints .

This is a cheap shot on your part and if I am not banned by the powers that be I request you to apologize publicly.

Rudeness itself is inappropriate. And Bud, you have been rude, condescending, patronizing and plain mean! You are quick to point out other%26#39;s inappropriate behavior, without acknowledging your own.

Please note that under the terms of use, it acknowledges that people can post ';general postings'; as well as postings that are travel experiences and so on. If you have a problem with the postings, review the rules!

I don%26#39;t know if you are doing this purposely to get a rise out of people or if it unintentional. Perhaps it%26#39;s that whole New Englander attitude of being blunt and knowing everything, I don%26#39;t know. But perhaps it%26#39;s time to play nice!

one of TripAdvisor%26#39;s posting guidelines is no harassment.

no apologies forthcoming.

Maybe it%26#39;s just the whimp in me, but I think I detect a degree of self-deprecating ';humor'; in some of Budweiser%26#39;s comments.

I agree w/k%26#39;wannabe, and Bud. Some may not like or agree w/Bud%26#39;s posts, and that is fine. You can either ignore and say nothing, or RESPECTFULLY disagree. I have noticed too often that if Bud makes a controversial statement, everyone jumps all over his case. I have seen name calling, flaming posts and etc all aimed at Bud. This is not why we are here. Bud, keep posting. I may not always agree but you have a right to your opinion and to state it w/o being called names when you do. If name calling were the norm when someone disagrees, then we all should be getting it--myself included. (Which, by taking Bud%26#39;s side, I know I%26#39;m asking for it. That%26#39;s fine.)

LittleLisa, you have just offended EVERY New Englander, but you don%26#39;t consider that rude or mean do you ?? It appears that you feel the rules of this forum don%26#39;t apply to you and you can post whatever you feel like, including insulting the populace of an entire region.

I don%26#39;t know if Bud is intentional or not and just think of it as his opinion. He does seem to get a rise out of some people, so maybe just overlook it?? The only poster that is very obviously setting out to attack someone is poster bbcck towards HawaiianDan, but HD does a good job not wasting his energy on him. Bud does however not pick on any certain person and seems to just bring up other points, although a lot of times they do seem negative.

If the Forum contained all positive posts and everyone agreed on everything it would not be much of a Forum would it?

I have to admit there of several post of Bud%26#39;s that I agreed with such as the Oahu thing. It seems that if you are not just wild about Oahu then you are going to be slammed on here. Also, yesterday, I thought it was a good point by Bud asking HD as to where the info was coming from on the closing of the K-Bay on the BI. Though I would have probably been a little more polite about it.

Tracy, I agree with you, and I posted agreement with Bud yesterday regarding more information being appropriate and welcome from HD about the whole K-Bay issue. I%26#39;ve yet to see real concrete sources and info supplied. I found an article on the subject and posted it on that thread, but I%26#39;d be interested in reading more facts and sourced information on this subject--not just well-meaning pleas and rants.

Are there specific posts of Bud%26#39;s that MKL and others are referring to in this thread? I%26#39;m on this forum fairly often, and I don%26#39;t recall anything particularly offensive. As a few others have said, opposing viewpoints are healthy and create lively discussions and help people make informed decisions about aspects of their trip. All folks have a right to post here. If you don%26#39;t agree with what someone has said, either ignore it or craft an intelligent message in response.
