We plan on going to Oahu @ Christmas,3 children 21,17,13 yrs. I would like to stay in a condo to save $$,close to beach etc. so they can walk around by themselves. Any ideas?
where to stay in Oahu?
With kids those ages, you are going to want to be close to the nightlife in Waikiki. I think there are some condo hotels in Waikiki----Aston Banyon is one I have heard of. I think there is another called Waikiki Shores. I have always stayed at hotels myself.
If nightlife and metro is not your thing, look into the Kailua area. It is gorgous.
Try VRBO.com for condo listings in Oahu.

Aston at the Waikiki Banyon, Aston Waikiki Sunset, Aston Pacific Monarch, are the ones close to the beach. I don%26#39;t know what they are like, I have stayed in hotels myself. Check on the trip advisor for reviews of hotels, and they might give you a clue to the condos.
The ';children'; will enjoy themselves, and you will too!

I say get a couple of rooms and stay at the Waikiki Circle. It%26#39;s such a great location, and fun for the kids! DEFINATELY recomend it.
We stayed at the Radisson Prince Kuhio. It was wonderful. Our room was just regular size but we weren%26#39;t there that much. We had two double beds and a fridge. The staff was very nice and helped us in every way. There are two reservations desks in the lobby as well as the concierge, and the bell desk ( Richard helped us alot.) It was very quiet and we had no trouble getting quickly to the 28th floor. Beautiful mountain view. It is two blocks from the beach and we also walked everywhere else we needed to from here. (except sight seeing of course)
