Can you check knives when you fly? I know you cant carry them on, fish or no fish!

I%26#39;m one of those hypocrites who would rather just look at them and let someone else kill what I eat.

When it comes to eating, I love Ono.

My husband does not dive, but he free dives and spear fishes from the shore. Some of his reef catches include moi, needlefish, ono and, of course, tako. He only catches what we will eat.

Many of the commercial dive will take you to places that are reserves, where no spear fishing is permitted. You will probably need to make arrangements in advance for a special trip to spear fish.

Actually, I was thinking about just spear fishing while snorkeling. I only spear what I%26#39;ll eat. That is why I%26#39;m interested in what the good eats are. What kind of spears are allowed. Spear guns with a tether okay?

Please rethink spear fishing where you would snorkel - - call me a tree hugger if you like - - but we%26#39;re losing our fish and our reefs . . . do I eat fish . . . yes but like Pappy I%26#39;m wanting someone else to kill them . . . and more and more of them are doing it more responsibly. Just my 2 cents worth - - and I know you didn%26#39;t ask for it.
