My wife and I are returning to Maui in January 2006 for our 26th anniversary. We were there last January for the first time (25th ann)and loved it. We wish to renew our vows and want to know about any organized ';revowal'; services available. Thanks.

This past September, we celebrated our 10 year anniversary by renewing our vows on Oneloa beach @ Kapalua.

We enlisted Deanne at Precious Maui Weddings to be our coordinator and really enjoyed working with her. She engaged a wonderful minister (Rev. Adam Gomes) and photographer (Nancy Nelson) for the event. The leis were first class too. Highly Recommended!

We renewed our vows right above Wailea Beach at sunset and we used Pacific Island weddings. They brought the flowers, leis and a Hawaiian guitarist and took pictures--they were great! Highly recommended!

Hi Cranky, my husband and I privately renewed our vows on our 30th anniversary on Maui. This process began on our 29th when I got a shortened version of our wedding vows off the internet and printed them, and we recited them to each other in front of a Montana fire (in our fireplace, of course). When we went to Maui for our 30th, we again repeated our vows to each other (under the moonlight and after a special meal out). This time, I also read to him one of my favorite poems: ';Come grow old with me, the best is yet to be, the last of life for which the first was made'; (or something close to that.) and he shared some personal thoughts with me. We both cried and I will never forget it. I personally think our society would be better off if all married persons did some sort of renewal of vows on EVERY anniversary--it is very meaningful! I think your idea of a formal renewal on Maui is wonderful and I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll add some personal touches which will make it memorable. Good luck!
