One great dinner??

Which restaurant in Maui would you pick (other than Mama%26#39;s Fish House, which we%26#39;ve already decided is a little out of our price range) for one great dinner? We%26#39;re staying in a condo and will probably grill there most nights, but I%26#39;m planning for at least one night out and figure we might as well make it worth it! We%26#39;re staying at the Mahana, so we%26#39;d probably prefer spots on the west side. Thanks in advance for your advice...

You could try Kimo%26#39;s in Lahaina and ask for a table on the deck upstairs. It%26#39;s very romantic and not that expensive. There are also restaurants like that in Ka%26#39;anapali, like Leilani%26#39;s. I%26#39;m not sure how many of you there are and what purpose...I%26#39;ve given a couple of couple ideas.

Just got back - without a doubt Nick%26#39;s Fish Market at the Fairmont in Wailea or Pacifico%26#39;s in Lahaina - in my opinion - the two best places in all of Hawaii.

Nick%26#39;s is very good, but at least as expensive as Mama%26#39;s.

Thanks for your suggestions! There will be two of us, my boyfriend and myself, there to enjoy a relaxing week on Maui. I checked out the Kimo%26#39;s website, and the view does look great.

How far in advance do you think I%26#39;d need to make a reservation for one of these spots for a Saturday night? I was thinking maybe we%26#39;d go before or after the Warren and Annabelle%26#39;s show.

We stayed in Wailea, so don%26#39;t have much west side dinner suggestions.

However, we did enjoy breakfast at Plantation house (Kapalua).

Sansei dinner was great in Kihei (they have another location on the westside in Kapalua).

For affordable, excellent food, try Honokowai Okazuya and Deli.

IMO dinner @ The Plantation House is the best place for a great dinner - especially @ sunset.
