Maui weather

My husband and I have decided to go to Maui (west coast) for our 15th anniversary. We are looking at the Embassy because we like the location, suites, free breakfast and cocktail hour!

We can%26#39;t, however, decide which time of year to go. Our anniversary is at the end of April and I wanted to go in March, but my husband thinks it won%26#39;t be warm enough to swim.

When%26#39;s the best time for beach weath in Maui?

Maui weather

Aloha,

You%26#39;re confusing the west coast with Maui weather. The average high (air) temperature in Maui goes from 82 in the winter to about 88 in the summer. March is wonderful time because the Humpback whales will still be there and it will be warming up.

Good luck!!

We go in February every year. Lots of humpback whales and definitely still warm enough for swimming.

you are picking a great place to stay! We own a time share @ the Embassy you want to stay at.The grocery store and some shops are within walking distance. No stoves but they do have full size frig.and microwaves

What are the prices like at the Embassy? We stayed next door at the Resort Quest Kaanapali Shores, and many people on trip advisor rate it as being good for those on a budget. We walked through the pool area once and it looked a lot nicer than the plain pool at Kaanapali Shores. Kaanapali shores has ovens, refrigerators, and a microwave and washer dryers. March is considered Holiday season for rates at Kaanapali Shores but depending what weekend you want, April could be their Holiday season (4/11-17/06) or Value season if your dates are other than that week.

Hi, we%26#39;ve been to maui 7 times, sometimes in december, february, march and april. We%26#39;ve never found that it%26#39;s not warm enough to swim, even in december! And considering I%26#39;m a big sissy and hate the cold, I think pretty much anyone would find it warm enough. Have fun!

We also want to go to Maui in early April (to take advantage of a seat sale) but I%26#39;m concerned about the lack of sun/rain since it is still considered winter.

Could anyone who has been in Maui during March/April advise about the amount of sunshine/rain they got? Were there any days when you had to do indoor activities (instead of swimming or tanning) We plan to stay at the Maui Westin Resort %26amp; Spa on Ka%26#39;anapali.

PS We need to book our flights before Jan.11th to take advantage of the seat sale so any responses asap would be appreciated! My husband doesn%26#39;t want to take the risk of going when it%26#39;s winter, but I really need this vacation soon!!!

Sophia -

Tell you husband ro RELAX. You%26#39;re coming from Toronto for crying out loud, It%26#39;s going to feel like the height of summer to you! You MIGHT get some rain but chances are it will be mostly nice. If you husband is looking for a guarentee, he ain%26#39;t gonna get one, but chances are good that the weather will be nice most of the time - and it will certainly be warm.

That%26#39;s the best you can get.

Mrs.Shanty and I have been there three times in April. Never ran into major rain. Some rain on one trip to Hana but that%26#39;s what you expect. Plus, I%26#39;ve said it before, there has to be rain for rainbows. Relax. You can swim. Or at least those of us fromthe Northeast are anxious for Maui weather.
