We will be staying at the Estates at Turtle Bay next week. Should we be concerned about the condition of our condo or are the majority of them nice? I know they are all owned by individuals, so each condo will be different. But are they mostly clean and not complete dumps?
Estates at Turtle Bay - Is it nice or a dump?I thought the entire resort looked lovely. I think you will be fine.
Estates at Turtle Bay - Is it nice or a dump? The only concern is the wind. If you%26#39;re facing the ocean (makai side) then it can get a bit windy. they are clean and well taken care of. Worry about the possiblity of being very windy on the ocean side (sometimes).
Hi, just returned from a honeymoon at Turtle Bay Hotel. The area surrounding the hotel is beautiful and quite peaceful. The hotel facilities are great although the pool area can be quite crowded as it is only small. Noise from the kids can be a pain as they are close too. The bay you will be sharing is well kept and a nice beach bar for all is open till late. Although you cant sit at a table unless you eat there. There is still a bar stool if you need one.
The wind is moderate to refreshing in May and the reef protects most of the bay from the waves. You can feel the waves when snorkelling and the visabilty is poor. Plenty of fish life tho so its kinda worth it.
Better views underwater can be obtained from Sharks Cove or 3 Tables on the road west.
Other than that i think you will have a great time. If peace and quiet is what your looking for.
Actually, we%26#39;re not staying at Turtle Bay resort, but at Kuilima Estates. They are the condos away from the beach on the road leading into the resort. Any info on Kuilima Estates?
