Just finished my 4th business day until my trip to Oahu and Maui. I got a chance to look at the hotels and condos that I will be staying in and got even more excited (Hilton Hawaiian Village in Oahu and Maui Kamole %26amp; Fairmont Kea Lani in Maui). My family is a little luke warm to some of the excursions that I suggested (Road to Hana, Haeleakala Mountain, Oahu Circle Island Tour, and any other thing that doesn%26#39;t involve lazing around). They told me all they want to do is lie around and do nothing unless the mood hits. I told them that in 10 days, I want at LEAST 3 days to do some activities. I had to twist thier arms a bit but they finally agreed.
I don%26#39;t mind lounging on the beach/in the pool but in 10 days and traveling 4000+ miles I want SOMETHING to remember this trip by.
Last shopping weekend so any hawaii suggestions are welcomed. (Thursday June 23 cannot come to soon!!!)

macjack: where is a good place to buy reasonably priced men%26#39;s Hawaiin shirts? I am not sure I will even get my husband to wear one and I know he definitely won%26#39;t wear it back home so don%26#39;t want to pay a lot. Just thought he should have one for the laua.

Don%26#39;t know if you have Sam%26#39;s Clubs in B.C., but they have a few very nice Island shirts - - have seen the same shirts in the Bahamas %26amp; in Mexico! %26amp; under $20

A good place to shop in maui are at the ABC stores and the Longs drug stores,too!
I always got my escencials at the ABC store. I got a nice HUGE bottle of Maibu Rum there for what 2 drinks by the pool cost me. That last me at least 1 day. Lol. okay, maybe a little longer.
