We are traveling to Maui from Vermont through Chicago. Any advice on traveling this far and adjusting to such a significant time change?

Sounds like you might be doing a similar flight to what we did. NY to Chicago to Maui. Eat breakfast at Burrito beach in Chicago Ohare. Turn your watch to Maui time immediately upon boarding that flight. Drink plenty of Water or other non-caffienated drinks. If you can%26#39;t sleep, read or at least DAY DREAM. I read Maui books and planned my Itinerary. I put my head on Maui time and did well. We did, however, wake up at 5 or 6 each morning, but that was okay.
