Has anyone ever won the ';halfway to Maui'; game?

Just wondering what your strategy was - did you use a calculator or estimate - did you factor in the windspeed and altitude or had you already consumed too many Mai Tais to think that hard.

Not sure about the game but I am almost always half way to Maui mentally no matter where I am in the world.....

I didn%26#39;t stop to think that this is probably specific to United Airlines only. The winner on June3 was off by 1 second!

The older I get, however, the better I do at the half way to the john game

I%26#39;ll have to try that on my husband. On our first flight to Kauai he had to ask for a second napkin for all the algorithims he was working trying to find the answer. It would be pretty funny to see him try the halfway to the john game!

Way too funny pappy....Guess it shows how old I am but I remember when it was not the ';half way'; game but the ';point of no return';. I have a feeling the saying ';point of no return'; is not PC enough and scared a few nervous flyers.....
