Hi. I have rented a home in Lahaina (Hale Lahaina) in March. However, I am arriving the evening before the house is available. I%26#39;m looking for a clean, inexpensive place to stay for one evening. I do not require an ocean view, just a clean place for one evening. I%26#39;m hoping to find something for $150 or less.
Any suggestions for something like this in Kahalui, Kihei, Lahaina, etc..?
Also, has anyone stayed at Hale Lahaina? If so, what did you think of it? I%26#39;m paying $1000.00 a day for it, so hope its wonderful.
Thanks
Inexpensive place to stay for one night?
Try the Islander in Lahiana. Also, you might want to try one of the hostels listed in the Maui phone book:
Happy Valley Hale Maui, 808 8792497; Northshore Hostel, 808 986-8095; Northshore Inn Hostel 808 242-8999; Patey%26#39;s Place Maui Hostel, 808 667- 0999 and Wailuku Tropical Hideaway, 808 244-0141.

Did you enjoy your stay at Hale Lahaina? We%26#39;ve stayed there 4 times and think it is the most amazing place. A private home on the beach in Lahaina, what could be better? The only downfall is, we hardly leave the house and end up cooking almost all of our meals. This year we are going to Kauai, but we will return to Maui and always to Hale Lahaina.
hi justmeincal, I just posted something for you under the %26#39;good hotel condo rates%26#39; post, by accident. Please read for info. Thanks!!!!! LG
Most condos don%26#39;t allow just a one night stay although there may be exceptions. The hotels are generally higher priced than you%26#39;re looking to pay. One I%26#39;ve not stayed in but have heard is clean although has very small rooms is Best Western Maui Oceanfront Inn for around $100 a night by calling direct for the manager%26#39;s special. Located right on a nice beach.
Check out the Maui Coast hotel in Kihei, I believe it%26#39;s within your budget and is clean and comfortable though not ocean front.
