We are looking for a condo situation (kitchen and washer/dryer) in West or South Maui over Christmas for 2 adults and a toddler. What%26#39;s important to us:
1) a heated pool (can%26#39;t handle cold pools!) 2) kids pool 3) restaurant/bar on premises 4) beachfront
We were looking towards Aston Ka%26#39;anapali Shores because that was the only place we could find with all these amenities. Ka%26#39;anapali Ali%26#39;i looked great but was out of our budget. Any other suggestions? Thanks!
Maui at Christmas?
anyone?
Maui at Christmas?
sorry, I can%26#39;t really think of any condos in south Maui with restaurant/bar on premises. Only thing that comes to mind, is Maui Coast Hotel on South Kihei Road. They have restaurant/bar on premises and they have a outdoor pool bar with menu. They do have a pool with a tiny kids shallow pool, but I don%26#39;t recall it being heated. The water seemed to be always warm ,to me, all year round, since the weather is so nice and sunny in Kihei, no need for heated pool. It%26#39;s not beachfront, but the beach is a short walk about one block. I believe it%26#39;s Kam II, across from the ABC Store.
Anyways, hope this helps. Good luck! p.s. you can check their website as well. aloha...
Maybe Pilikia or Kawena, any ideas here?? Thanks, LG
Oh, someone just recommended Sugar Beach Resort - I guess it has a restaurant, kids pool, and heated pool as well. Now I%26#39;m torn between there, Kaanapali Shores or Kaanapali Villas. I will search the forums but if anyone has any immediate comments, please reply. Thanks
Sorry not too familiar with condos, especially west Maui. I%26#39;ve heard good thing about Sugar Beach though, check the reviews. People are really happy with the value, and the location is ok, very beachfront, intimate, not crowded, scenic, just not the greatest swimming beach on the island. I have stayed at Maui Coast hotel in Kihei and it%26#39;s too far from the beach if you want beachfront. Granted it%26#39;s not really a long walk, but you can%26#39;t even see the beach from it, there%26#39;s a busy street in the way, and it doesn%26#39;t feel like a beach hotel.
We were at Sugar Beach last november with our nine year old, awesome location on great beach and beautiful oceanfront pool that is heated and spa. The beach is a great swimming and boarding beach. They have a small pub on the premises that is also classified as a deli. There is also a grocery store and you can rent boogie boards and all other equipment right there. Be sure to ask for upgraded unit.
what about Napili Kai Beach Club? I think that has everything on your list.
