Need recommendations for BEST BRUNCH on Maui with price not...

Please give your recommendations on what you consider to be the best BRUNCH in Maui. Price is not an issue when it comes to brunch for us. We%26#39;ve been to bad brunches and they just aren%26#39;t worth any penny or dollar. Your honesty is appreciated. Please even tell us what you think we should avoid if that is your only experience. Thanks, Bellavita in SC (goind to Maui in late July).

Bella, we had a condo so no breakfasts out but I have heard folks rave about the Swan Court brunch because of both the food and the atmosphere. Its in the Hyatt at Kanapali.

Sunday brunch at the Prince Court at the Maui Prince Resort (Makena).

Hi Pilikia and Maui Here I Come: This is going to be a tough decision because I have read (in travel books) that both of these places are highly recommended. May I ask you both to sort of elaborate more on why you recommended each? We can really only go to one since it will be a splurge. The other days of the week , we%26#39;ll simply find something simple for breakfasts.

Thanks so much (in advance!) Bellavita

Bella, having no personal experience with the Swan Court, I am reluctant to root for it over Plikias suggestion. I only heard good reports about my suggestion from some folks that were staying at our condo and friends that went last year. Truthfully, I would try the Swan court for dinner for the ambiance, supposed to be very romantic, and go with Pilikas choice for Brunch!

And trust me on this...you will get other suggestions to choose from!

My boyfriend and I usually take visitors to the Maui Prince because when the whales are here, you can sometimes sit at your table for hours and watch them in the ocean. The food is very good with hot dishes like eggs benedict, prime rib, crepes. They have an abundance of seafood, even poke! And many many different salads. Also sushi! (In a limited variety so don%26#39;t expect Sansei%26#39;s!) The desserts are killer - macadamia nut cheesecake, sometimes guava cake, cookies, and so much more. It%26#39;s a champagne brunch and the waiters are very attentive to your glass.

I think going to Swan Court for dinner is an excellent idea! It%26#39;s a very romantic place. To be honest.......the only reason I didn%26#39;t recommend it over the Prince was because I%26#39;ve never had the pleasure of dining there. One of my closest friends was a chef at the Swan Court. We%26#39;re always getting together with him to pulehu. OMG! Some of the dishes he%26#39;s made up for me are UNREAL! So hey.....why go to the restaurant when I can have him all to myself? LOL : -)
