Hi, i plan a trip to hawaii ohau mid july august with my girl friend.. Is there nice surf ? or it s look like a lake..!

The surf is good in the summer months, but less than in the winter when they hold all the surfing competitions; in fact up on the north shore it might be pretty high - don%26#39;t try surfing there if there are any warnings out or if the surf is really high unless you%26#39;re VERY experienced.
