I sunburn very, very easily. I want to do some tanning before I go but how long should I stay in when just starting out? My girlfriend did 8 minutes but I think that would fry me.
vertical tanningAsk at the salon, they are the experts....
vertical tanningLovely, Bills right, unless the girl you ask is 14 and its her first day! lol
My husband started out ghost white and he did 7 minutes for the first three trips and then increased it by one minute till he was at 10 minutes for his last visit. That seemed to work great for him, in Maui he was in and out of the water every day and never burned. Do ask the owner or manager how long though. Only they know the types of beds they have and what your skin type is.
We recently went on a trip and before we left I tried the new Turbo tanning. It was great! Ten minutes is the max you can go whether it is your first time or not. You tan a lot faster and the tanning beds never get hot. They also have built in fans for your face as well as your whole body.
I only went 3 times and 10 minutes each time and a month later I still have some of the tan. I have not laid in the sun since I went tanning. They have several creams you use when turbo tanning to speed up the tanning. It seemed to me burning was less likely with turbo tanning and they said once you get a base you don%26#39;t have to go very often.
I would never go back to the regular tanning beds now that I tried the turbo tanning.
A lot less work and a better tan!
Ask the salon but I would start at 5 minutes if it%26#39;s a regular 20 minute bed then bump up every two minutes. Try to go every day for the first five days.
Jeeper and I have been talking about getting one of those spray tans at Earl Scheib or Maaco.
They can also fill in some of those unsightly creases.
LOL, you guys!
Bondo Butt. Kind of has a ring to it.
and the clear coat keeps your tan fresh for years.
